Art & Craft Idea - Your Own Jigsaw Puzzle Design!

This is one of those items I could share with my elder daughter. She likes any form of art & craft, claiming  it's her favourite subject. It's no wonder she looks forward to Thursdays, art and craft day in her kindie. This blank puzzle is readily cut into pieces and comes in two sizes, 25 and 36 pieces with the total size approximately 21x21cm (or 8"x8") and 29x29cm (or 11"x11") respectively. The 25pc set comes in two puzzles per pack.

I've made one as a birthday give sometime back before I started this blog and didnt take a photo of it. But it turned out quite unique in its own personalised way. Use colour markers or magic colour for your designs as they are cleaner and goes well with the puzzle surface.

Up close - the pieces are well cut and fits snugly.

Good for school's art & craft projects, here are what you can do with this puzzle:

1. Glitter & glue - lightly outline your design. apply glue in stages. sprinkle glitter over the glue areas. use multiple colours. alternatively, replace glitter with coloured sand.
2. Hand painting - perfect for younger children. help them write their name on the puzzle as well.
3. Colour markers - recommended. simple and fast (not to mention, clean as well).
4. Acrylic paints - for the budding artist. to make it last longer, spray a light protective coat.

It can be used in groups by dividing the puzzle into sections.

Lastly, if you are a parent, you'd want to keep your child's self-designed puzzle in a frame as it'll be priceless!
